Elections

-A A +A

Village Elections are held the third Tuesday in March every two years (in the odd calendar years).

The next Village Election will be Wednesday, March 18th (there is a NYS law that pushes the elections back a day due to St. Patrick's Day).  On the ballot in this election will be two (2) Trustee positions (each for a four (4) year term), and the open Judge position for remainder of term (until 2017).

The Mayor, Judge and Trustees are each four year terms.

The Village Clerk is responsible for overseeing the elections in the Village of East Syracuse.

Voting takes place at the Village of East Syracuse Municipal Building second floor Court Room.

The Village no longer maintains its own voter registration roll.  To be eligible to vote in any Village election you must be registered with the Onondaga County Board of Elections.  To see if you are registered contact the Board of Elections at 315-435-3312 or click here.
