Agenda:
(1)        The Potter’s House Christian Fellowship Church – 212 E Manlius St
  • This will be their 2nd meeting as the PB had some questions and wanted to take some time to look into potential traffic and parking concerns.
(2)        Caliber Collision – 3133 Erie Blvd E
  • This will be their 2nd meeting as the applicant is bringing in updated site plans that are different from the original plans presented. This is for BOTH a sub-division application and a site plan application. They will also have to go in front of the ZBA for multiple variances.
(3)        Clearwood Custom Carpentry & Millwork – 617 W Manlius St
  • This is their first meeting with the PB.  The property owner wants to put an addition on the rear of his building. The building currently is Legal Non-Conforming, performing LIGHT MANUFACTURING within our Main Street Zone. Our Code requires that for a business to perform Light Manufacturing within our Main Street Zone, the business has to present in front of the Planning Board a site plan showing that the proposed use will not alter the character of the Main Street Zone, unduly interfere with the flow of traffic, or be a hazard or nuisance to the annoyance of adjacent businesses, residents or patrons.  I could not find anything showing that this was done in the past. The business owner agrees with me that they did not do this prior to opening. Since they want to EXPAND their non-conformance, I feel that that they should get on the books with what they were supposed to do prior before we expand the non-conformance. The business owner agrees as he wants everything to be done properly.
