Code Enforcement - Garbage

-A A +A

"Garbage" is household waste, which is picked up on Fridays by Butler Dispoal Systems.

"Trash" is the items that are not considered garbage, which include furniture, building materials, white goods, mattresses, carpeting, etc. These items are picked up on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month by our Village DPW. Trash stickers must be purchased from the Village Office, and placed on the items put out at the curb for our special trash pick-up days.

Below are the local laws/codes for GARBAGE ONLY!

There are two sets of codes that are enforced within the Village of East Syracuse.

The first is Municipal Codes, which are local laws that were created by the Village.  The second is International Codes, which were adopted by New York State, and also referred to as NYS Codes.
